Review and FOTD: Etude Cookie Blusher and Dear Darling Petit Lip

 

Etude Cookie Blusher no 5

Pros

♠ Cute packaging and puff

♠ it has Gold Shimmer if you like a youthful and glowy finish like J. Lo

♠ Lovely teen-ish effect result, youll look younger in this color

Cons

♠ this kind of packaging can be seen in Tony Moly and other Korean brands too

♠ not that pigmented you have to put on 2-3 times to make it visible

♠ the lasting power is very usual..1-2hrs i think or 3hrs depends on the weather..i live in philippines hot and rainy all the time.

Conclusion

i love this color combined with the etude lip below, it gives a youthful glow so i like this despite the cons ;) the price is P328 pesos / $7.63

Will i repurchase?

nah..i want to buy something else from Etude and this will last me like a very long time ;)

♠ Drys my lips even after putting on lipbalm

♠ Shiny finish

Probably not, ill try something else from Etude Lipsticks :)

Pros

♠ Affordable

♠ i like the case

Cons

♠ the Blush is a very natural looking peach (did not show as i wanted it too) its actually almost invisible on my skin tone

♠ the contouring powder is too dark for my skin tone, i have to be careful when i apply it

Will i repurchase?

no, anyway i think this is a good product for other skin tones, maybe NC30 and darker shades.

Elf Brightening Eyeliner (Black)

Pros

♠ Afforable

♠ Creamy texture, not dry like some brands with the same price
♠ Comes with its own sharpener

Cons

♠ i have to set it with a black eyeshadow, it erases quickly
♠ the finish/effect is not as i wanted it to be
♠ the cap is just too fragile, it broke immediately

Conclusion

this is recommended only if your looking for a very affordable pencil liner and do not mind to re-apply every now and then 

Will i repurchase?

nope, i dont need anymore pencil liners and im thinking of using Gel liners soon.

ill only repurchase this if i ran out from pencil liners and i need a cheap one.

its a lovely berry color, deep pinkish berry, i love it!

i dont like

♠ a little shiny for me (i love matte)
♠ leaves a kinda sticky feeling


Conclusion
its cheap, love the color, a little bit sticky though..


Will i repurchase?
if there is a color i really like i might buy it!

Elf Royal Purple

haru! =P it looks red here because of pic effects 

on normal light

two coats, the color turned out just like the Violet-Red
in the wheel below =)

i love this color! it also dries pretty quick and the cap is easier to deal with than the usual rounded ones and slippery caps, although there are some brands who have matte caps which is better, and i want elf cap to be matte too :D my hands are kinda sweaty "pasmado" and i do my nails on my own so it will be helpful. 


i have a confession! this is just my 4th time putting nail polish this 2011

ELF Lip Primer & Plumper

i like how KlairedelysArt does her makeup, her lip art is so cute

Also I think it will solve my problem. my lipstick always does not last long coz im a crazy semi-wacky anime person...u know not paying attention to my lips most of the time hehe

Thumbs Up:

-its affordable, Its a great catch, 2in1 for P250 is cheap

-it did help my lipstick stay longer

-the Plump smells like Cinnamon and it enhances your lips

Thumbs Down:

-im not sure if im allergic to Cinamon but it gets me so itchy!

-its kinda smudgy though...the texture of the primer

-i cant use it for light color lipsticks coz it gets mixed w/ the lipstick then the color is totally different.

-Its really creamy, too creamy..

-It does not apply well on my lips, maybe its just my lips or something but it does not work for me :( sheesh
