HOTEL L OTA-KU NISHIKAMATA TOKYO HOTEL REVIEW
We booked in 3 hotels in Japan during our stay
This was the first hotel we booked, it was for the night of our arrival,
it was relatively near Haneda Station 15 to 20 minutes via Taxi
We arrived during the midnight, so we took a cab, but the train option is also
available from Haneda airport to here, as long as it is during the train working hours.
Below is how the entrance look like
FREE WIFI
This place have free wifi and you can also use this app for access to wifi
everywhere in Japan, i used this app, it was helpful, but do not expect
to have internet in all places though.
HOW TO BUY JR PASS AND IS IT WORTH IT?
We ordered two 7 days JR PASSES. Delivery fee depends on your area
We got ours delivered to the first hotel we went to in Japan because we ordered
just several days before the flight, quite sudden if you asked me. So in order to
insure we were going to get the passes we did this.
Payment was safe and easy. Delivery dates and time is also mentioned here:
i used to think once delivered i do not have to do anything and its the passes it self already.
But you have to exchange your letter with the actual passes, you can do that in airports or any
station listed in the pamphlet that is included in the package. Since we got ours in our first hotel
and not before we went to Japan, we did not get to exchange it in the airport, instead we exchanged
it in Tokyo Station before riding the Shinkansen or the Bullet train.
i was delivered March 31, we arrived April 1, and we only stayed for the night in the
hotel, it was pretty hectic right? but never the less a damn success!
IS IT WORTH GETTING?
Depending on you itinerary. There is a lot of kinds of passes, regional, and daily passes.
So depending on how many places you are going and if you need to use the bullet train too.
Personally i was only going to Tokyo at first so i booked flights only to Tokyo.
Then later on we decided we wanted to visit Osaka and Kyoto too.
So instead of wasting money on re-booking our flights bound to Osaka,
i decided since we are using the bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo anyway,
lets just get a National JR PASS for 7 days and ride the bullet train from
Tokyo to Osaka too upon arrival.
In conclusion in my position i actually saved a lot of money.
1 Ride of bullet train from Osaka to Tokyo prices are from $130 to $160
so i still have $100 right? i used the JR PASS on all ordinary trains in 7 days
if that is not enough reason, i was on the shinkansen 6 times i think but the
longest trip was Tokyo to Osaka and Osaka to Tokyo.
My hotel was in Osaka and i used shinkansen to go to Kyoto 12min instead of regular train
1 hour and 12min. Awesome! I also felt like a VIP because instead of going through the beep
system, i go through the side where the guards are. The JR PASS is literally a ticket not a card.
So before you purchase any pass i suggest you see your itinerary.
use google maps on all your planned locations and click on the train icon.
you will see how much is it per train. After you calculate everything,
decide if you need any kind of pass. There is also other tourist passes.
Personally i used SUICA in Tokyo after the 7 days, its cheaper than any pass,
since i only have few places or one place to go per day. a ride is 400-800 Yen a day for me.
i really hope this post is helpful to anyone.
P.S. - i was not paid or sponsored to make this post.

Anime | Shingeki No Kyojin 進撃の巨人 Attack On Titan Event in Skytree (ATTACK ON SKYTREE)
(Click the photos to Enlarge)
We went on April 10th first day of the event.
350 floor DECK and Shingeki no kyojin or Attack on Titan Event Cafe (Event Running till July 14th)
For those who do not know Attack On Titan
The Event is called "Attack On Skytree"
Hence Attack on Titan Anime x Skytree.
It is not an attack of any sort like terrorism or anything violent,
its just the name of the event so do not worry.
i strongly suggest to get brochures and read them while waiting for your tickets
Regular line was about 15-20 minutes wait but it was not bad, we came in 4PM
Tourists can access the fast line, you just have to pay $10 extra for each person
if you do not have any time, on a hurry you can do that, but if you are a large
group i suggest to just line up if you have the time.
if you want to see the day time, sunset, and night time all in one go, you can do
what i did which i came in 5PM and enjoyed the cafe then i watched the lovely sunset,
as well as the view of the enchanting tokyo lights during the night from tokyo skytree.
You can see the view of these three from the 350 and 340 floor on my Video below this post
or you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y3vbIJuVakI

Shingeki No Kyojin 進撃の巨人 Attack On Titan Event in Skytree (ATTACK ON SKYTREE)
i have been a fan of this franchise since the first episode of the anime in 2013
i posted this anime on my blog before here:
http://punkybunnyamz.blogspot.ae/2013/08/anime-shingeki-no-kyojin-attack-on-titan.html
i find it unique and interesting, as well as dramatic. it is gore though for some
people, but if you watch anime you know this normal lol.
P.S.- i also went to USJ and will be posting about the huge Titan soon and the ride
Although i posted in on my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/punkybunny/
The firs photo is a mini event or quest for the fans where you can win Stickers
of Shingeki no kyojin or Attack on Titan by collecting 5 stamps in total.
You will find each stamp on the locations mention on the brochure, one of which
is on the B3F floor, 1F, 5F, so if you pass by there just scan the QR Code and the stamp.
